  The staff is consistently friendly, even willing to set up a surprise dinner. The food is good, not great. I would NOT recommend the steak - we've ordered it twice and have been disappointed both times. Simple Italian dishes were good at a reasonable price. It is certainly convenient to have the parking lot directly behind the restaurant.

  As always, another satisfied experience at Joe's. I have been to about 4 other Joe's throughout the bay and never have had a bad experience. An older crowd but it's because all the regulars have been coming there for years probably since it is such a solid spot. The calamari was perfectly fried, nice large portion, tartar sauce was excellent! My boyfriend got the Chicken Alfredo and I got the Spaghetti and Meatballs. These are real Italian Family Style portions. I love having leftovers from Joe's.
  
  Service was on point! Lounge by the fire was just what we needed on a rainy day before heading back home to the East Bay.

  Five stars for customer service. 2 star for pasta alfredo was not $17 worth to my palate. I've had a $4 alfredo dish at Target that taste much better. It was sticky and bland. I had to add too much salt to be satisfied. That however, is the only dish I tried so I'm not rating for all dishes JUST the alfredo with chicken. My friend had a snapper dish that he rated 5 stars and we both agree the place has a great family atmosphere to it so I would give it another try but absolutely won't order the pasta alfredo again..
